All DealTranslator services are delivered digitally. We are a digital-first translation agency, and the vast majority of our work is delivered electronically via email or our secure file transfer system. This allows us to serve clients worldwide with maximum efficiency and security.
Upon completion of your translation, you will receive a notification email with your completed files attached or a secure download link, depending on file size. Files over 25MB are delivered via our secure file transfer system with password protection.
We deliver translated content in the file format specified at the time of order. Standard delivery formats include DOCX, PDF, XLSX, PPTX, HTML, XML, JSON, XLIFF, PO, and plain text. If you require a specific format not listed, please mention this when placing your order and we will accommodate your needs wherever possible.
For projects involving desktop publishing (DTP), we deliver final files in the agreed format along with an editable source file where applicable. Print-ready PDF files include appropriate bleed, crop marks, and color profiles as specified.
Standard delivery timeframes are as follows: simple documents of up to 2,000 words are delivered within 24 to 48 hours, standard documents of 2,000 to 10,000 words within 48 to 72 hours, large documents of 10,000 to 50,000 words within 1 to 2 weeks, and enterprise projects exceeding 50,000 words on a custom timeline agreed before project commencement.
These timeframes apply to standard language pairs and non-specialized content. Technical, legal, and medical translations may require additional time depending on complexity. Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee, with 24-hour turnaround offered for most standard projects.
Certified and sworn translations are delivered in both digital format (scanned PDF of the signed and stamped document) and physical format (original hard copy sent by tracked courier). Physical delivery within France is included at no additional charge. International courier delivery is available at cost, with tracking information provided as soon as the shipment is dispatched.
Typical courier delivery times are 1 to 2 business days within France, 2 to 4 business days within the European Union, and 4 to 7 business days for international destinations outside the EU.
We consider delivery complete when the translated files are sent to the email address provided in your order or made available via our secure file transfer system. For physical shipments, delivery is confirmed by the courier tracking system. If you do not receive your delivery within the expected timeframe, please contact us immediately at support@dealtranslator.com and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
Completed translations are securely stored on our systems for 90 days following delivery. During this period, you may request re-delivery of your files at no additional charge. After 90 days, files are permanently and securely deleted from our systems in accordance with our data retention policy. If you require longer storage, please let us know and we can arrange extended retention.
